2010 was an exciting year, but also a challenging one - ups and downs, laughter and tears. When I was up, I was thankful for all the goodness in my life. When I was down, I surrendered and let go of control – I cried – a lot. I cried until no tears were left, but it quieted my heart to hear the whisper of the awakened one. The voice was warm and kind, it said: “I am strong; I am happy; I am free; I am clarity; I am brave; I am compassionate; I am love; I am mindful; I am peace”. Looking at the mirror, this time, I know you are right. I love you because of who you are. There is no need to be angry with whom you are not. Your pain is my pain; your happiness is my happiness. Being in the present moment, I see YOU – the one that I always love. New Year's Eve is a special day to welcome the new and say goodbye to the old. One of my New Year's resolutions is to focus on BELIEVING - to believe what I see when I look at the mirror. I am looking forward to receiving more happiness, joy, love and success in 2011. What are your resolutions? Imagine it, feel it and believe it. Let’s celebrate the awesome year and say YES to the possible!! Mandy :)

Hope you all are enjoying a good time with your friends and families. On Christmas Eve, I saw the movie Peter Pan playing on TV. I was busy multitasking and didn’t pay too much attention to it. When I was a kid, I read the book and watched the cartoon about Peter Pan. If you asked me what the story was about, I probably would summarize it and say: “It is about a boy who doesn’t want to grow up.” Then, in my head, I added: “It sounds like someone doesn’t want to take responsibility and live in realty.” I thought I knew the story well. The fact was…. I forgot everything about Peter Pan – the little boy (girl) of my inner voice.
The journey of growing up should be fun and exciting, but sometimes it seems things are out of our control and expectation. We cannot have what we want in our lives as easy as we thought. We have learned to believe “life is difficult”, “Money is evil”, “Secure your life with a well-paid job” etc. Have you thought of those beliefs are base on building up your fear? We are fear of losing job; fear of making change; fear of thinking big; fear of getting rich etc. Your inner voice is the gudiance to tune into your intuition. The more we are able to listen to our intuition, the more we are able to direct our life to the path that we want. Like Peter Pan, we become more confident, playful, adventurous, brave, creative, imaginable, lovable, happy and more. We, indeed, CAN have everything we want. Everything is possible and can magically come in our lives. Here are things you can do today to get in touch with your inner voice (excerpt of an article written by Sonia Choquette): about what you should do. 2) Be observant when you have conversations and careful not to be sweep up in agreeing just to feel like you belong. 3) Strive to become more discerning. 4) Talk less, Listen more. Happy listening! Hugs, Mandy :) |
