WE ARE BORN TO BE LOVED

After 16 hours of flying, I am now standing on the other side of the world. The newsstands stocked with the Cantonese, the smell of rice (with Cantonese style chicken), the familiar faces and the crowded streets tell me I am definitely back home – Hong Kong.

Coming back this time, we have a new member in our family. My cousin just had her first baby in March. The two months old, Ka Hei, is on the spot light 24/7 with lots of cuddles, kisses and attention. She is as small as a button and yet as loud as a giant. She came to this world, to this family, determined to show us her wanting, desire and most importantly, one of her missions – to remind us that WE ARE BORN TO BE LOVED.

Love can be shown in many different ways. In my family, love is shown with: the check-in phone calls, the home-made soup and the concerns of my work and love. I admit, sometimes, I wish I was a baby under the spotlight, but, I am proud of being part of a family light brightening the journey for the next generation. I AM LOVE. I AM LOVED. IAM LOVING. It is nice to be home!
